WINTER READING CLUB January 9th – February 17th, 2012.
Step #1. One your next visit to the library, select a penguin and write your name on it. (This is where you will add your snowball stickers for every visit to the library between Jan. 9th and Feb. 17th.)
Step #2. Take home a bookmark, an Official Reading Log, and a certificate for a free game of bowling. Be sure to check out some books while you’re here!
Step #3. Warm up with some good books! Read (or be read to) for at least 15 minutes every day. Record your reading times in your Official Reading Log. You can even write reviews of your favorite books on the reverse of the Log!
Step #4. Return your books to the library and check out new stories! Don’t forget to add a snowball sticker to your penguin each time you visit the library!
Step #5. On or after Friday, Feb. 17th, return your Official Reading Log to the library to receive a Certificate of Participation, an invitation to a special “Cocoa and Cookies Celebration” to be held in February, and other special prizes!
