Pirate Pajama Storytime!

Greetings from the library!

Rrrrrrrr! Ahoy, maties!

Monday was Talk Like a Pirate Day so what better way to celebrate Pajama Storytime than to talk about PIRATES! Rrrrrrrr! We made some really fun parrots to sit on our shoulder. Check it out!

What a hat!

Greetings from the library!

Last week on Make a Hat Day, we had some really creative kids stop by to make hats! I hot glued a sturdy paper bowl and plate together to make the hat and let the kids paint and decorate however they wanted. Hopefully, some of these funky creations get worn on Hat Day at school this year! Check out our hats!

Reduce, Reuse and a Request to Repurpose

Greetings from the library!

For the Arts & Crafts Club being held on October 6th, we are going to make snow globes! I am wondering if any of our families out there have an abundance of baby food jars with lids? If so, would you be willing to bring them in to the library for us to repurpose? Please call at 207-0764 or e-mail me at
gflores@albright.org.

Edible Wallpaper is so delicious!

Greetings from the library!

Happy birthday, Roald Dahl! I know the kids had a really good time playing Pin the Ear on the BFG and Bird Pie Toss. Everyone got to take two Roald Dahl classics home! We made giant peaches and the highlight of the night was definitely creating edible wallpaper! Mmmm, was it delicious!

Happy birthday, Roald Dahl! Thank you for sharing your wild imagination with the children of the world for generations to come!
