Giving Tree!

Feeling generous this holiday season?

Stop by the Nancy Kay Holmes Library and select a tag from our Giving Tree!

The Giving Tree will benefit Leadership Lackawanna Project: Renovating Our Future. This project will create a space for the pre-teen and teenage population of our community at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library. The space will be a fun place to study, learn and grow.

A Giving Tree

Here you will see a beautiful tree adorned with ornaments galore.

Select an ornament that strikes your eye, or two, if your generosity is more.

The end result, as you will soon see, is a space for teens to go,

Where their needs are met, studies are done and imaginations can grow.

Thanks for your generosity,
Miss Glynnis

Ornaments at Storytime!

Hello from the library! We've been busy making ornaments for our trees this week at Storytime!

On Monday, we read books about penguins. As you can see, we had fun making penguins, too!

On Friday, we read stories about mittens. Missing mittens, dirty mittens and white mittens that get lost in the snow. For our craft, we created a mitten ornament and decorated it with glitter glue!

Join us next week on Monday and Friday at 11:30 am for storytime! We will continue making ornaments next week!

See you at Storytime,
Miss Glynnis
