Mittens!!!

Though there's little need to wear them this winter, we read stories today about mittens on snowy days, including these entertaining reads:


As we read each story, my friends observed how difficult it was to see the mittens in the illustrations because they were CAMOUFLAGED... so we made camouflaged mittens too! If you closely look at each mitten, you'll see several brightly colored snowmen decorating our mittens, while some snowmen are less obvious, as we first glued snowmen the same color as our mittens for the camouflage effect:


Speaking of observations, this is Miss P animatedly observing that Miss Katie's hair looked "all messy" this morning, so, of course we had to pose with Miss M for "messy hair" photos:
