Go Away Big White TEETH!

Hello Friends! Happy Friday!

It's Dental Health Month, and we already know how important it is to take good care of our teeth, but do you know who else needs to care for their teeth? Monsters, of course! We read two great stories about the Tooth Fairy:

and this much-loved story about a Big Green Monster with Sharp White Teeth:

Our creative crowd made more monsters with sharp white teeth, much like these sharp-toothed terrors I found online:

So creative and imaginative! We had a terrific time together this morning, and I hope to see you again soon! Just a reminder: NO STORYTIME this Monday, February 20th as our Library is closed in honor of Presidents' Day. Next Friday's storytime promises to introduce a special new friend to the library - don't miss it!

Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo, Miss Katie

It's good to know that everyone participated in the activity. You are now looking at the future designers of monsters, LOL. BTW, that book "You Think It's Easy Being the Tooth Fairy?" by Sherri Bell-Rehwoldt is a fun book that's worth remembering. David Slonim illustrated humorously through those errant pictures how hard it is to be a tooth fairy.
