At Friday morning's storytime, we read Pigeon Wants a Puppy, Children Make Terrible Pets, and Not Norman - three terrific stories about Pets! Then I revealed my surprise hidden under a large cardboard box:
"Norman" is thrilled with his new home here at our library. "Not Norman" is, well, Not Pleased with his/her uninspired name, so we need your help! Stop into the library to pick up your Name Our Goldfish entry form. Color the picture of the fish, and submit your creative suggestion for a new name for Norman's buddy. We're accepting recommendations through next week. While you're here, don't forget to say "Hi" to our fishy friends, and check out these and other excellent stories about PETS!
