MyGym and Soda Bottle Paintings at Family Place!

Today was our final Family Place session of 2011! Miss Ashley from MyGym in Scranton came to visit. MyGym has developed an extraordinary program devised to help children 6 weeks thru 13 years of age develop physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Miss Ashley showed us some fun exercises and games, and we had a terrific time playing with her! Thank you, Miss Ashley! We hope to have MyGym back for a visit to Family Place in early Spring 2012!


Then we read a cute story about RORY the Reindeer, and we painted pictures of "Rudolph's Nose So Bright". But, oops! Miss Katie "forgot" to bring paintbrushes today, so we strengthened our motor skills as we painted with the bottoms of soda bottles! Check out these unique paintings:
