Special Story Time and Author Appearance
Author Jeannine M Luby will read her new
children’s book “Wartz And All” on
Thursday, September 6 at 5:30 PM at
Nancy Kay Holmes Library, Green Ridge.
"Wartz & All" is a story book for children ages 5 to 8. The main character, a frog named Wartz, learns about himself and his friends as they travel along a trail inspired by the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail in northeastern Pennsylvania. He learns that his friends like him as he is ... warts and all.
The story will be followed by a special craft:
children can decorate crowns to feel like royalty.
Copies of Wartz And All will be available for sale at $7.99 plus tax with $2 from each copy sold benefiting the Lackawanna County Library.
