Gumdrop Grins!!
Check out these gorgeous grins! It's always a fun day when GUMDROPS are put out for play! Today we read gumdrop books, sang songs about raindrops and gumdrops, and created gumdrop snowflakes to hang on our gumdrop trees, just like in our stories. We even voted for our favorite gumdrop colors:

We had a great time pouring glue, sprinkling glitter, and making these ornaments at Family Place on Wednesday morning! If you were here and made one with us, they're dried and ready to be picked up and hung on your tree!

Success By 6 works to improve the quality, affordability and accessibility of early care and education programs for children so that they enter school ready to learn and with the essential "building blocks" for success throughout their lives. Lisa answered questions and provided our families with important information about development and learning in young children.
Our last Family Place session of 2011 is this Wednesday, December 7th, 10:00 - 11:15am. MyGym will be here, so get ready to tumble and somersault! Please call 207-0764 to register!

This morning we read books about sharing (a timely topic for this month) and books about counting the days 'til Christmas. Some of our young friends are excitedly counting the days until Santa's visit, so we shared craft materials and worked together with brothers and sisters (if they were present) to create our Family Christmas Coundown Calendars:
