A Rainbow Garden on a Beautiful Spring Day!
Hello!
Hope you are enjoying this gorgeous Monday! At storytime this morning, the beautiful weather inspired us to read these sweet, spring stories:
We crafted gardens of colorful flowers, similar to the illustrations in the stories we read. We identified circle shapes and colors, and sorted them into small, medium, and large sizes before arranging them in our "gardens". Take a look:
Such cheerful pictures, made with cheerful friends, on this cheery day! Our next storytime will be equally colorful, as we read stories about rainbows and pots of gold! Join us on Friday, March 16th, at 11:30am - no registration required! See you soon!

"Happy Birthday, Michelango!" Storytime
Hello, Friends! Happy Friday to you! And, Happy (Belated) Birthday to Michelango, who turned 537 years old on Tuesday.
Today at Storytime, our young artists read several stories about creative art, and we learned about Michelangelo, painter of the Sistine Chapel. We were amazed that he could paint such beautiful pictures on the ceiling, and we were inspired to create art like Michelangelo. As we couldn't reach the ceiling of our library, we taped paper beneath folding chairs, and created these beautiful works of art while lying on our backs on the floor. Check us out:
We had so much fun! Parents/grandparents and caregivers did too, and many friends said they plan to replicate this art experience at home soon! I'm so glad you enjoyed this experience!

MARCH MADNESS Basketball Bash: Tipoff Today at 5:30pm!

Selection Sunday is almost here, and the Tournament begins one week from today, but I just can't wait until then! Join us today at the library, 5:30-6:30pm for our March Madness Tip-Off Party! New Books at the Library!
Look at the smile Miss Bethany is wearing! She's happy because all of the storybooks on her cart (and other books that can't be seen in this photo) are NEW!! There's nothing more exciting than reading a new book! Stop into our library for a visit sometime very soon, and read through our expanding collection of books! Miss Bethany and I already picked out our favorite NEW books, and we wonder: what will be yours? See you soon!
Letters in the Library Storytime
Hello, Friends! Yesterday, we read these terrific stories about books, letters, and library visits:
We made Scribble Art, as we placed masking tape on our paper, colored over it with markers, and when we lifted the tape, we discovered the perfect outline of our initials. Look at our Letters in the Library:
