Whose Shoes?

Join us tomorrow evening at 5:30 pm for our Pennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child Event! We will be reading Whose Shoes? by Stephen R. Swinburne with lots of fun activities from the Traveling Trunk! We will be sharing shoe jokes, shoe songs, playing some shoe games and creating shoe art!

Join us for Show & Tell Storytime on Tuesday at 5:30 pm! Bring something to share for Show & Tell! We will be reading books about Mother's Day and making a special Mother's Day craft! Ages 3 and up!

Join us Thursday at 5:30 pm for a Cinco de Mayo Craft Party! We will be making mini pinatas, mini maracas and craft tacos! A special Mexican treat will be available to eat! Open to all ages! Please call 207-0764 to register!

Teen Zone Ribbon Cutting

Greetings from the library!


Last Friday evening, a ribbon cutting ceremony took place for the newly renovated teen room at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library. When the room is completed sometime in early June, it will include computers, board games, a television, tables, chairs and electronic games for teen use. The project was led by Leadership Lackawanna with about $11,000 in community donations.
