April Raffle @ Nancy Kay Holmes Library!

We're gearing up for not one, but two sessions of LEGO Club at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library!

LEGO Club will take place on Wednesday, April 9th AND Wednesday, April 30th at 5:30PM.

During the month of April, stop by to check out books and you'll receive a raffle ticket for every 5 books you check out. These raffle tickets will get you entered to win a LEGO City Museum Break-In Set!

Bookworm Buddies at the Nancy Kay Holmes Library

Battle of the Books

Miss Amber is looking for a few good readers in grades 4-12 to join the Battle of the Books Team this summer.

What is Jr. Battle of the Books?
Jr. Battle of the Books is a fun and competitive reading contest for readers in 4th-6th grade.
Library teams will be quizzed on the 5 selected books at the end of the summer in a countywide contest on Thursday, August 7th at 5:30 PM at Marywood University's Lynett Multimedia Room.
Teams consist of 3-5 members and participants are quizzed on their knowledge of the selected books. There will be weekly team meetings throughout the summer. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team! Represent your library in this county-wide contest! Call 570-207-0764 to register for this competition!

Escape! The Story of the Great Houdini by Sid Fleischman
Rules by Cynthia Lord
